Foggy Windows? We can Save Them!
How Window Medics' Process Works
The Window Medics process works by
- removing the visible moisture that has accumulated in the window and
- drying out the silica desiccant materials in the frame in order to provide full window restoration.
- Our uniquely designed one-way valve is activated by sunlight, forcing moisture inside window panes to escape.
- At the same time, our propriety valve technology works as a true one-way valve and prevents any new moisture from flowing freely into the window cavity.

How do we do it?
First, we drill two small holes (2mm) in your glass window pane, one in an upper corner and one diagonally opposite it in a lower corner. We then spray several proprietary and environmentally friendly solutions inside the sealed window unit to clean and remove all haze and contaminants. Next, we extract the solutions and dry out your double pane window. Finally, we apply our patented, micro-valves to the holes we drilled.
Because water was already present in the desiccant and inner frame and we added solutions when we cleaned the thermal pane window, it can take up to 12 weeks for the window unit to completely dry. In the summer months when we have lots of sun, windows usually dry out in two to four weeks. During the time it takes to dry out, you can expect to see moisture or fog come and go repeatedly. This is normal! Your insulated glass units (dual thermal pane windows) are now re-engineered and will have years of extended life. With the Window Medics process, you can save money, keep tons of glass out of the landfill, and restore the R-value of your windows back to their original specifications.
Please note that windows are usually installed as a "family of windows", which means all the windows or Insulated Glass Units in your home or building were built around the same time. If one window starts to fail, others may soon follow.
If you have had a number of your windows fail already we suggest you consider our Preventative Program. We can re-engineer your windows to be sure they never fail at a much lower cost than repairing them and save you even more money.
